Who are we
Trinity Capital Limited was formed in 2019, in order to bring under one brand the construction, property and development experience of its founders. Trinity is owned and managed by Mike Wood, Zaw Htut and James Washbrook who between them have over 60 years of experience in property and construction.
Mike is an RICS Chartered Surveyor who has worked for many years advising clients on cost, viability and feasibility. Zaw is a qualified Civil Engineer and has spent most of his career as a Project and Development Manager, and James spent most of his early career as a Contractor’s Quantity Surveyor and therefore brings a wealth of construction experience to the team. Their combined expertise means that they are able to successfully deliver even the most complex of projects.
Besides its own developments, Trinity also provides a Development Management consultancy service for other clients, offering the advantage of the contacts, understanding and skill sets formed through our own experiences. The empathetic and committed approach Trinity delivers ultimately helps to contribute to the success of any project.
We understand
Our combined developer and consultancy experience has given us the edge over many competitors, in that we understand the roles of both. Because of our background we have continued to serve both sides. Our consultancy work means we are constantly in touch with the market and live market data, contract forms, processes, statutory policies and required approvals; thus allowing us to advise Developer Clients with real time advice, which in today’s volatile market is essential. In addition, our experience as developers also brings the knowledge of funder and wider stakeholder requirements as well as exit strategies to suit any scheme.
The Senior Management Team:
Mike Wood
Mike started his career following successfully completing his degree in Quantity Surveying at the University of Greenwich. His career started with French Kier Anglia (part of the Kier Group), before joining Wates Construction; then followed by a period overseas. After his overseas experience, Mike joined a private practice experiencing for the first time the client side of being a Quantity Surveyor; but also then gained some experience in project management. Eventually in 2007 Mike decided to go it alone and set up his QS and PM construction consultancy offering project management and quantity surveying services to both clients and contractors. His consultancy is still going strong and is testament to his aptitude and ability.

Zaw Htut
Zaw started his career after graduating as a Civil Engineer from Kingston University.
He is a Project Manager and Employers Agent with over twenty-five years of experience accompanied with strong M&E, commercial and technical awareness across a wide range of projects within the UK as well as mainland Europe.
His sector experience includes hotel, retail, healthcare, telecoms, animal welfare/veterinary, commercial office, leisure, care home and student-accommodation.
He has a high degree of competency working on complex projects and development portfolios, managing clients, consulting engineers, architects and main contractors alike, on varying degrees of procurement strategy routes.
Qualifications : BEng (HONS) Civil Engineering, MSc Construction Project Management
Interests : Keeping fit, travel, movies, modern design & architecture.
Ambition : To leave a long lasting legacy

James Washbrook
The early part of James' career was spent predominantly with major contractors, such as ISG, Vinci, and McLaren Construction. However, since 2012 James has focused on providing developer side services to our end user Clients. His wealth of experience, spans many sectors of the construction industry; including super prime residential, rail, light industrial, and commercial new build and fitout. James has been with CMC since its commencement in 2007, and is now a Director and Shareholder, and works closely with Mike to ensure that CMC delivers the highest standard of service to each and every Client.
